    • Analysis, characterisation and early detection of disinformation phenomena, hybrid threats and grey zone dynamics.

    • Design, implementation and evaluation of advanced cryptographic protocols for digital identity management.
    • Design, implementation and evaluation of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

      • Security information sharing in smart grids: Persisting security audits to the blockchain
    • Collaboration in post-quantum cryptography in the context of QCDI with UPM. This collaboration is currently carried out in the context of CIRMA and RAMONES projects. Common works

      • A Digital Twin Threat Survey
      • On the implementation of post-quantum remote attestation protocols for IoT
      • On the Application of Group Signatures to Implement Authentication, Authorization, Audit and Accountability Protocols
    • Active collaboration with the EPS from UAM in the application of compression metrics and deep learning techniques in cybersecurity. Some common works:
      • Rumor and clickbait detection by combining information divergence measures and deep learning techniques
      • Improving LSTMs’ under-performance in authorship attribution for short texts
      • A compression-based method for detecting anomalies in textual data
    • Co-supervision of a PhD thesis with the Finance department from UAM (Essays on Assets Tokenization) -Doctorado Industrial de la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid-. Outcomes (published papers):
